Dock Bench Musings at Marywood’s Trout Lake

DOCK-BENCH MUSINGS AT MARYWOOD’S TROUT LAKE

DOCK-BENCH MUSINGS AT MARYWOOD’S TROUT LAKE

Water ripples its way to the welcoming shore…

Birds wing effortlessly in the sky…

Trees stand erect guarding the earth-rim…

Clouds hang loosely to drift at will…

If this isn’t the vestibule of heaven, what is?

Breezes brush past my cooled-down face…

Sun heats my black slacks to super-warm…

A spider crawls on my sweat shirt without fear…

A fly lands on the paper – then flies on…

And I am a part of this splendid creation, no?

Yes, indeed, as I pause in an unrushed hour…

Breathing in Arbor Vitae’s green life…

Ducks bobble on the surface of lake water…

Fish must occupy “home” beneath Trout Lake…

All is serene and well ahead and within me… joy…

Behind me cars and trucks surge southward…

Other good moments happening elsewhere…

Like 40,000 cyclists at Tomahawk for a cause…

Pooling moneys and camaraderie for MD (muscular dystrophy)

Planet Earth hosts space for kin-dom building…

Transported here via Delta’s on-time arrivals…

Elizabeth’s gracious excitement to have me come…

A chance to tickle funny bones this evening…

A morning to stretch prayer awareness tomorrow…

With “pray and play” hours woven in between…

Gratefulness pulsates in peace…
